You can send letters from almost anywhere in Spain. To do so you should buy stamps, available at the licensed tobacco shops known as "Estancos".

To send the letter or postcard you need to put it in a post box, to be found in the streets, at railway stations and at airports. You can also leave it at your hotel’s reception for them to send, if they offer this service. The Post offices (Correos in Spanish, Correus in Catalan) are generally located near the city centres. These offices also offer fax and registered fax services. Faxes can also be sent from most hotels.
